The health and wellbeing of exhibitors and participants is always the HKINF team’s primary concerns. We have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus(COVID-19) developments and in line with the measures from the Hong Kong SAR Government. In response to the worldwide outbreak, HKSAR has published regulation (Cap. 599E) on March 18 by imposing compulsory quarantine orders on all persons arriving from all foreign places outside China will be subject to compulsory quarantine for 14 days. The regulation will take effect for three months until June 18.
After careful consideration, we are postponing the 10th HKINF to 13-15 July. Heritage Auctions, our official auctioneer, will also be rescheduling the World Coins & Currency Auction to 11-13 July and lot viewing will be from 6-10 July. Moving the event to after the HKSAR travel ban expires shall be a more practical solution for our overseas exhibitors and visitors.
During the event, we will also be taking extra steps to better protect our exhibitors and participants. Hand sanitizers and masks shall be available to all exhibitors. We will set a temperature check/detect point at the entrance, and thus all visitors and exhibitors will have to go through temperature checks before entering the venue. Our team is dedicated to providing a world-class safe event as part of a continued endeavour to create numismatic collection opportunities for all of our exhibitors and visitors.
We would like to thank all our partners for staying with us in these difficulty times. We will be reaching out to you in the following weeks to provide details and to make further arrangements.
Updates will also be available on our Facebook Official Page & the website hkinf.hk. You are also most welcomed to contact us at email@example.com if we could be of any assistance.
Please feel free to let us know your concerns. Your feedback is most valuable to ensuring a smooth rescheduling of the event.
We look forward to meeting you soon at the show.
Until then, stay safe and healthy!
