Polymer banknotes are being introduced in more and more countries worldwide. Simply looking at countries close to Hong Kong reminds us of the recent introductions of polymer in the Philippines and (after a break) Thailand, on top of the countries already using polymer: Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and the many Australia-Pacific nations.
